1. Introduction

Robles & Prijs Consulting Group is a Costa Rican consulting firm specialized in strategy, creativity, and customer experience for the tourism, reatil, hospitality, and travel sectors. By contracting our services, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below.
 

2. Scope of Services

We provide consulting services, strategic design, development of customized tools, training, educational materials, and ongoing support for companies in the tourism and related sectors.
Services may be delivered in person or virtually, depending on the agreement established between both parties.
 

3. Business Client Definitions

For the purpose of segmenting our services and pricing, we use the following classifications based on Costa Rican legislation:

• Microenterprise: Up to 5 employees and annual gross sales of up to ₡10 million

• Small enterprise: 6 to 30 employees, with annual gross sales between ₡10 million and ₡100 million

• Medium enterprise: 31 to 100 employees, with annual gross sales between ₡100 million and ₡500 million

• Large enterprise: More than 100 employees and annual gross sales exceeding ₡500 million

These categories help us tailor our proposals to the operational and budgetary reality of each client, while ensuring the highest level of service aligned with our operational capacity.
 

4. Greater Metropolitan Area (GAM)

Our services are available nationwide, primarily within Costa Rica’s Greater Metropolitan Area (GAM), which includes municipalities from the provinces of San José, Heredia, Alajuela, and Cartago.
The GAM hosts the majority of the country’s population and economic activity. If services are required outside this zone, additional logistical conditions and fees may apply. When applicable, travel and accommodation expenses will also be calculated unless alternative arrangements are made or the client provides such services at a lower cost.
 

5. Service Engagement Terms

All services must be confirmed in writing via email.

• The contract will be sent as soon as possible, and no later than five (5) business days after the client’s written acceptance of the quote.

• The contract must be signed and returned within five (5) business days to ensure the project is scheduled in our operational calendar.

• The client agrees to provide the necessary information and access for service delivery.

• Timelines and deliverables will be defined jointly at the beginning of each project.

• Robles & Prijs Consulting Group reserves the right to decline requests that do not align with our mission, values, or operational capacity.

Free consulting calls are limited to 20 minutes and must be canceled or rescheduled at least 4 hours in advance.
If the client fails to attend without prior notice, a new booking must be made and will incur a $50 USD administrative fee.
If the client does not join the call within 10 minutes, the meeting room will be closed and no refund will be provided if a fee was applied.
 

6. Intellectual Property

All materials, content, service and packages names, and deliverables developed by Robles & Prijs Consulting Group are the exclusive property of the firm and are protected under national and international copyright, intellectual property, and trademark laws.
This includes but is not limited to:

• Strategies, methodologies, scripts, templates, formats, and checklists

• Ideas, recommendations, and personalized solutions designed for each client

• Names of services, packages, or products developed by the firm

• Texts, slogans, graphics, diagrams, and visual materials

• Color palettes, typefaces, and visual identity elements created by or for Robles & Prijs
   

6.1 Unauthorized Use

Clients may not reproduce, share, modify, distribute, resell, or use any of the provided content for commercial purposes without the firm’s explicit written consent.
 

6.2 Legal Consequences

Unauthorized use of protected materials may result in:

• Immediate suspension of contracted services

• Retroactive billing for improper use of content

• Legal action before the competent authorities, including claims for damages
   

Robles & Prijs Consulting Group reserves the right to take all necessary measures to protect its intellectual property and preserve the value of its creative and commercial assets.
 

7. Cancellations, Payments, and Refunds

• Cancellations requested more than 10 business days before the scheduled service start date are fully refundable.

• Cancellations requested within 10 business days are subject to a 50% cancellation fee.

• Cancellations requested within 48 business hours of the scheduled start date are subject to a 100% cancellation fee.

• No refunds will be issued once the service has begun, except in cases of properly documented force majeure.

Full advance payment is required for all contracted services.

For recurring clients (three or more services or packages contracted per calendar year), payment frequency and terms may be negotiated—provided there are no outstanding balances from completed services.
 

8. Confidentiality

Both the client and Robles & Prijs Consulting Group agree to maintain confidentiality regarding all information exchanged during the project, unless disclosure is required by law.

Robles & Prijs Consulting Group is fully committed to protecting data, competitive insights, opportunity areas, and any information that could pose a risk to the client’s brand, reputation, or business. Likewise, clients agree—by signing the contract—to uphold the same level of confidentiality.

With prior written consent, the client authorizes the use of project feedback or results for promotional or professional purposes.
 

9. Modifications

These terms may be updated at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website or will be shared via email when relevant to active clients.

10. Service Guarantee and Limitation of Liability

Robles & Prijs Consulting Group commits to providing personalized recommendations, strategies, and action plans based on the information provided by the client and best practices in the industry. However:

• Results depend on the accuracy of the information provided and the correct implementation, follow-up, and continuity of suggested actions

• The firm is not liable for lack of results, negative impacts, or unintended effects if recommendations are not implemented fully, are incorrectly applied, or are used out of context

The client acknowledges that services are consultative in nature and do not constitute guarantees of commercial or financial success. Positive outcomes require active, joint participation from the client’s team.
 

11. Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved under the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica.
 

12. Courtesy Services

Robles & Prijs Consulting Group may, at its sole discretion, offer certain services free of charge to the client, including virtual information sessions, preliminary diagnostics, downloadable materials, or other offerings defined as "courtesy services."
 

12.1 Scope and Availability

Courtesy services are not contractual obligations and are not guaranteed for future availability. These services are defined in advance and may be subject to specific requirements, limited availability, or scheduled timeframes.
 

12.2 Scheduling, Participation, and Penalties

All free sessions must be scheduled through the designated channels and confirmed at least 24 hours in advance. In the event of a no-show or cancellation without notice within 24 hours, Robles & Prijs Consulting Group reserves the right to:

• Decline to reschedule or reoffer the courtesy service, and

• Charge an administrative fee of $50 USD (fifty US dollars) for the reserved time, which must be paid before scheduling any new session

This fee applies only to courtesy services and does not constitute payment for professional consulting.
 

12.3 Limitations of Use

Courtesy services are intended solely for general guidance and should not be interpreted as personalized consulting, contractual engagement, or in-depth professional advice. The content provided is for reference purposes and does not establish a business relationship.
 

12.4 Non-Cumulative and Non-Transferable

Courtesy services are non-transferable, non-cumulative, not redeemable for cash, and cannot be applied as credit or discounts toward paid services.
 

12.5 Modifications or Cancellation

Robles & Prijs Consulting Group reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel courtesy service offerings at any time without prior notice and without creating any entitlement to claims by the client.
